CHIROPRACTIC MANIPULATION IN NECK RELATED HEADACHES

A recent study published in the Journal of Manipulative Physiological Therapeutics evaluated the effects of six chiropractic manipulations, over a course of three weeks, on a group of headache sufferers. The results were:
1. Use of painkillers decreased by 36%
2. Headache intensity decreased by 36%
3. The number of headache hours decreased by 69%
This study concluded that, “Spinal manipulation has a significant positive effect in cases of cervicogenic (neck-related) headaches.”
